“Huge
chasm” between Muslims and the
West". Politically
correct. Freedom of Religion or freedom of speech is acceptable only if
it is an Islamic one... ".
Face it the West's fascination with the Islamic Cartoon's as
well is they are rightfully really tired of Islam continually shoved
down their throats, they do not want anything to do with that oppressive
religion. Australian prime minister John Howard also has
said he considered the violent reactions to the cartoons “are completely
disproportionate to the offence that could possibly have been given”.
Rightfully
also do tell all of the Muslims Imams in Canada to pray for and to practice
now real peace in Canada and rather not be a part of the too many religious
hypocrites. "It is a big risk that we
could see emotions go beyond the limits of civil behavior," said Salah
Basalamah of Muslim Presence Canada of the Muslim anti Cartoons
demonstration planned for Montreal this weekend and already some
Muslim leaders feel the protest could get out of control and this is
already unacceptable emotional blackmail. And do Tell them all ahead of time
any Muslims protesters who get out of control will be arrested
rightfully even for disturbing the peace... Some Montreal Muslim
leaders prefer dialogue to planned weekend protest for in reality as we see
world wide they want this as an excuse to convert all of the Infidels, and
then likely the other bad Muslims will next try to kill the rest who refuse
the conversions. Montreal Muslim leaders said today they
respect free speech and freedom of the press, but don't want those values to
be used to promote Islamophobia.
It is not the free speech
of the others that causes today's rightfully vast Islamophobia but rather the
undeniable, unacceptable violent, murderous negative acts of the Muslims
themselves still. What about Muslims demonstrating for freedom of speech, freedom of
religion of all faiths in the Muslim world firstly too.. what it would be not
allowed? they would likely be killed for it.. how hypocritically of them to
demonstrate in Canada against the other's freedom of speech
worldwide.
Showing us all now his true
colours, a bad Liberal.. "Canada's new
politically correct Foreign Affairs Minister in action By Judi McLeod
Thursday, February 9, 2006 The legacy of Prime Minister Paul
Martin lives on in ivory towered Ottawa. Sadly, the Martin legacy lives on
perhaps because of--and not in spite of--the fledgling minority Conservative
government that replaced the Liberal one. Canada's newly minted Foreign
Affairs Minister Peter MacKay's first statement in his new portfolio:
"The government of Canada will continue to promote a better
understanding of Islam internationally, in partnership with Muslim
communities." Politically correct Martin couldn't have said it better himself.
Worse, MacKay issued his statement in reference to the ongoing violent Muslim
rage over the Danish editorial cartoons that depicted the Prophet Mohammad—a
Muslim rage that seems to have cost a Catholic priest his life in Turkey, on
Tuesday. As Toronto Sun scribe Licia Corbella suggests, "Promoting a
better understanding internationally of any religion—Islam included—is not
MacKay's role or any other federal official's role." But try to lay that, Ms.
Corbella, on a policy wonk come to power. For all of those with the luxury of
being able to ignore Canadian politics, MacKay is the cuckolded and coddled
Conservative MP who could easily star in a remake of Sleeping with the
Enemy, Canada style. Dopey MacKay was dating MP Belinda Stronach when
she jumped ship to return to the Liberal Party. Warning signs pointing to
romantic Pierre's priorities were there all along, but lost on Mr. Harper.
Incredulously, when blonde billionaires Belinda dumped MacKay at the same time
she abandoned the Conservative Party for what she thought was the
election-proof Liberals, conservative colleagues gave their cuckolded
colleague a standing ovation in Parliament. .. Meanwhile, if
hopeless Harper wants to see a definition of "superficial", he can find a
picture of MacKay alongside the word in any dictionary. Note: A
Tory organizer and friend says it is possible that MacKay may have been the
victim of a bureaucratic foul up on his better understanding of Islam
comments. If that's the case, where's the retraction?

"Foreign Affairs Minister Peter MacKay who both
invoked the constitutionally enshrined right to freedom of expression while
underscoring that the right must be “exercised responsibly.” Only the Post
digs up the background Census data that lists PEI as having a Muslim
population of 195 residents, equal to 0.1 percent of the island’s small
population. According to the 2001 census results, Canada’s total Muslim
population is just over 500,000. . , the public is far from viewing the
concluding frame of the cartoon debate"
Showing us all now his true
colours, the Canadian Foreign Minister Peter McKay calls for better
understanding of Islam.. while in a survey at least 70 percent of Quebecers
said they would never let their son or daughter marry a Muslim as well cause
they do not respect, trust them? So is this what the Canadian Foreign
minister means he is going to expound when calls for better
understanding of Islam.. we all put our heads in the sand and deny their
unacceptable, negative terrorists emotional violent outbursts and now lie and
say Islam is a peaceful religion, killing only a few people so far promoting
their own false agendas, unacceptable dictatorial state and values now?
Muslims even still do the same thing they do protest against.. kill and make
bad cartoons.. and now how really hypocritical it is of them and us all now
too? What you cannot
remember when the last time any one, especially a federal cabinet minister
had said officially, specifically in Canada, Peter Mckay
said they were sorry the Christians had been abused? neither can I..
cause he still really does not care about any offending the others or of the
Christian votes? he only cares about the people who hate the Jews and the
Christians... Foreign Affairs Minister Peter MacKay issued a statement
Wednesday noting that the drawings, which appeared in some European
publications, have caused offence in Canada and abroad... but not the Islamic
poor reactions? well?
"Wednesday, February 08, 2006 MacKay's
disappointing start Peter MacKay hasn't been Foreign Minister for a week, and
he's already sounding like Pierre Pettigrew or Kofi Annan. Here's his
press
release on the Islamofascist riots. My
comments are interspersed: The publication of
cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed has caused offence to Muslims and non-Muslims
around the world and in Canada.I'm sure it has.
So does the fact that Queen Elizabeth doesn't wear a burka, or that women in
Canada can drive cars, or that Jews and Christians don't have to pay a special
jiziya tax for being infidels. We await MacKay's press release on the
offencive daily anti-Semitic cartoons in the Muslims press, or, for that
matter, the daily anti-Christian "art" in Hollywood or Broadway. They won't
come because the criterion for press releases like this one isn't respect for
a religion. It's fear of a religion. Freedom of
expression is a legally enshrined principle in Canada, but it must be
exercised responsibly. We commend those Canadians who have acted
appropriately. So now a minister of the crown
is telling -- who, exactly? The press gallery? Why won't he say? -- that
freedom "must be exercised responsibly". Is he saying that it is irresponsible
to publish innocuous cartoons of Mohammed? Is that his legal opinion as a
minister? What does "must" mean? Is he going to back that up somehow? Or is he
just joining in with his own version of the libel chill that is the true
meaning of the riots? However, we
condemn the violent protests that have occurred in some parts of the world,
and find the attacks on foreign diplomatic missions particularly deplorable.
This sensitive issue highlights the need for a better understanding of Islam
and of Muslim communities. Oh, we
do need a better understanding of Islam -- or at least the minister does. And
the understanding starts with realizing that there is a choice here, not a
compromise: either our centuries-old Western freedoms are supreme, or Islam's
centuries-old strictures are supreme. You really can't split the
difference. Respect for cultural
diversity and freedom of religion is a fundamental principle in
Canada. If the good minister, also
a lawyer, took a moment to read the Charter of Rights, or any other source of Canadian constitutional law, he would
find that "respect for cultural diversity" is not a fundamental Canadian
principle, but "freedom of thought, belief, opinion and expression, including
freedom of the press and other media of communication" is. You can tell
because it's under the heading "Fundamental Freedoms" in our Constitution. I
can't find the word "respect for diversity" in the Magna Carta. In any event, my diversity includes diversity of opinions,
and the right to opt out of sharia law. That's my idea of diversity.
The Government of Canada will continue to promote a
better understanding of Islam internationally, in partnership with Muslim
communities. So now the Canadian government is
in the business of promoting Islam internationally? Absurd; if you need help
realizing that's absurd, substitute the word Christianity for Islam. How about
promoting classical liberal values, Canadian values? But with press releases like this one, I rather doubt that clarity is
the goal. But I think the riots themselves, and the threats of further and
deeper violence (more 9/11's, more Holocausts) that accompanied them, have
done more to help our understanding of the clash of cultures than anything
since 9/11. Ezra Levant on February

Is Peter MacKay next going to join the
Liberal party too? Like his friends..
JAKARTA, Indonesia (AP) - Christians also
have become targets. Pakistani Muslims protesting in the
southern city of Sukkur ransacked and burned a church Sunday. That
incident came a day after Muslims protesting in the Nigerian city of Maiduguri
attacked Christians and burned 15 churches in a three-hour rampage that killed
at least 15 people. Some 30 other people have died during protests
over the cartoons that erupted about three weeks ago. In Jakarta, about
400 people marched to the heavily fortified U.S. mission in the centre of the
city, behind a banner reading "We are ready to attack the enemies of the
Prophet." Protesters throwing stones and brandishing wooden staves tried
to break through the gates. They set fire to U.S. flags and a poster of U.S.
President George W. Bush and smashed the windows of a guard outpost before
dispersing after a few minutes. The U.S. Embassy called the
attacks deplorable, describing them as acts of "thuggery." and I still do not see Peter MacKay MP or our PM S Harper
making an statement on behalf of the the abused Christians.
DID YOU ALSO NOTICE ALL THESE REAL BIG
HYPOCRITES WHO SAY THEY ALSO NOW DO BELIEVE IN FREEDOM OF SPEECH, FREEDOM OF
RELIGION, WHAT THEY MOSTLY STILL THEY DO BELIEVE IN IS ONLY IN THEIR
OWN RELIGION, BE IS A SECULAR OR AN ISLAMIC ONE, AND THEY BELIEVE IN THEIR OWN
FREE SPEECH ONLY AND NOT THAT OF OTHERS. AND THAT IS WHAT THE ISLAMIC
CARTOON PROTESTS EVEN BY THE NEWS MEDIA IS
TRULY NOW ABOUT. USE YOUR RIGHT OF FREE SPEECH PUBLICALLY TO SPEAK ABOUT
THE PERSONAL WRONG DOINGS OF A MAYOR, PREMIER, PRIME MINISTER, BAD COPS IN
CANADA AND THEY WILL LIKELY SEND THE POLICE TO YOUR DOOR TO SHUT YOU UP, TO
WRONGFULLY TRY TO OBSTRUCT JUSTICE. It only happened 6 times to me but I still
speak out in a peacefully manner and do not wrongfully resort to
violence.
